The funeral for General Colin Powell on TV brought back memories of the stained glass conference at Washington Natl Cathedral several years ago, and several of our good friends who have worked on windows there......Mary Clerkin Higgins and Charlie Lawrence come to mind.....and didn't Charlie sneak in his dog in one of the windows?? Thanks.

Yes!
Dog ashes in the cement. I forget which window but I can't think of a better memorial and sticking a finger in the eye of the "Clark of the Works" as Charlie would say, is even better.
Some may remember that Jim Whitney is memorialized in a set of windows in Cleveland. Forget exactly where but we visited during the conference in 2018. Janet Lipstreu can back me up on that.
I think this could be a trend. What else to do with the remains of stained glass people?
