Can anyone direct me where I can get information (books etc..) on Dalle galss. Or where I can get in-touch with Helmut Schardt. Helmut, Wo bist do? Trying to help a customer with Dalle work and I have done very little of this work.

Thanks Mary. Rebecca gave me his name, but the only information I see is from Germany; which isn't a problem for me, but I knew he lived here now. On the membership page is a link to our studio if you could lt him know so if he would like to call.
* and what the heck Rebecca I just looked at my name it says non-member and I am a member.................................................... :)

He is on Long Island, He was in East North Port, in his own shop.
Before that I worked at Rambusch and I think he
he worked for Duval. I started to cut dalles when I was at
Hiemer in N. J. in 1963,then at night at I cut for Greenland. For Pinart at Millard,s
studio. Then out to Long Island to work for Paul wood. Paul wrote a how
to do it book and credited me for teaching him faceted glass fabrication,
which I did. Also the first SGAA book EVERY THING YA EVER WANTA TO KNOW
ABOUT STAINED GLASS AND WERE AFRAID TO ASK/instruction manual.
The faceted chapter is headed up by a faceted window I did in Texas for John
Kebrle, they asked me to write that chapter but I read some of the stuff
they were gona put in it and I figured I would rather not.
Any way I did a lota faceted glass, some of it is on my web site.
