This is a pair of double moons I did with Kiki Smith in 1998. It's in the collection of the Whitney Museum and on display there till October 19th. It's on 50 pieces of French Blue on Gold each 11" X 17". I cut and acid etched the glass which Kiki painted and I then fired. It's the first time I've seen them in 16 years. I also did a similar double moon with her that year. That one was done on Lamberts Red on Green. To be honest, I don't remember whether it was a green moon on a red background, I think it was, or vice versa. The first piece I did with her was in 1997, a large single moon painted on 140 11" X 17" pieces of Lamberts White Opal Reamy. That was for a show at the Pace Gallery. I think you can find photos of it by Googling "Reconstructing the Moon"
