Back in the early 1960s I worked with Bob on a faceted job at Dick Millards old studio. I learned more about COLOR in that short time with him on that job then I ever dreamed I would or could. Bob had a great sense of humor and I spent as much time drawing Cow Boys and Indians on the margens of the cartoons as i did glass cutting. We had a kinda cartoon war going on the margens of the working drawings. Dick got fed up with it and raised hell. "What are you two doing?"
the guy whoes cartoons these are is razing hell with me about your drawings on his cartoons. "Cut it out, just cut the glass. That is what I am paying you for." I said "ok Dick, but Bob started it." Dick said "yeah right," but that is just some more of your Sussex County bull shit. He never did say any thing to Bob. So Bob old friend I will realy miss you. CZ
